"Alo is a fantastic yoga teacher and yogi! Attentive to the needs of everybody in the class. I went on her retreat in Turkey and had a wonderful time. Alo is caring and passionate about yoga and its benefits, and I have taken away a lot of knowledge to help me in my own practice." Mel

"What an amazing experience I had at Yoga Enlights' Morocco Yoga Retreat. The venue was awesome and being a very intermittent beginner I was slightly nervous that everyone would put me to shame, but the opposite was true cos Alo held us all, throughout each session and I felt wonderful. By the end of the retreat I felt healthier, eaten gorgeous vegan food, met wonderful new friends and experienced Morocco's beautiful souks, shops and beaches. BRILLIANT! Thank you." Emily

Viktoria Ilina - Yoga teacher (Hatha & Yin) & co-facilitator
Viktoria is a yoga instructor from St Petersburg (Russia), with deep love for dynamic and relaxing yoga sequences that can both energise and inspire students. She's been teaching yoga since 2017, after completing a Hatha Teacher Training with Vishnu-Sharan Shukla in St Petersburg. She then went to India in 2018 to practise Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga in Mysore, at Badri's school - one of T. Krishnamachar's successors. Later, Viktoria did a Yin Yoga TTC with a student of Paul Grilley and only Yin TTC instructor in Russia. For Viktoria, yoga is like therapy. She loves to play with movement, explore creative headspace and help students feel good about themselves, and comfortable in their own bodies.

Why is this retreat needed?

Do your body and immune system feel depleted in some way? Could your health and lifestyle generally do with an upgrade?

Do you often feel stressed, overly tired or anxious, possibly affected by ongoing personal and/or collective challenges?

Has your motivation taken a dip and you need a rest to reconnect with your heart's purpose and move forward?

Humanity is going through pivotal times. That is not exactly news. Yet some of us may still expect that ‘business as usual’ - in any area of our lives, not just business, of course - is going to cut it. Yet most of us know by now... It won’t.

Certain past behaviours, beliefs or mental programming we were accustomed to (the conventional, conditioned, 3-dimentional, i.e. limited ways of looking at things) no longer work in today's world. We need to reinvent ourselves.

low motivation.jpg

This can indeed feel challenging, but no one has to do it all alone. We have a choice, even if recent events have made it clear that we only have control over ourselves. Which action we will take to adapt gracefully to change?

The “3D box” is not just the four walls most of us were confined to for 18 months, or that unfulfilling job that never makes us feel valued. It is the overall way we tend to perceive ourselves and others, and act accordingly.

Do you sometimes sell yourself short, or play small ? That's '3D'. Are you currently settling for something you already know doesn't work for you, the wrong job or relationship? That's '3D'. Do you tend to live in your head and 'think' your way through life, relying primarily on your mind to navigate its challenges? What if you could drop into your heart instead, and learn new methods to co-create the change you've been wishing for, ‘knowing’ (not just, believing) that it IS possible? Are you ready to make that bold step into the 5th Dimension?

"Shifting from 3D to 5D" means undertaking a process of assisted transformation which will allow for what you once thought impossible to become possible. "5D" is the vibrational shift and state of mind that enable us to trust and thrive, as opposed to doubt and survive. You may be/feel very successful in some ways, but are you genuinely at peace in all areas of your life? This retreat has the potential to help you reduce or bridge the gap between the life you currently have and the life you truly want. And it will give you some tools to co-create (in Charles Eisenstein's words): "the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible".

How do we help make that shift?
We teach you advanced practices to restore and revitalise weakened or disconnected body and mind, with many of us still affected by confinement, illness, isolation, stress, change, debts, loss, grief... We also raise your awareness of and ability to challenge limiting, unconscious beliefs we tend to hold about ourselves (e.g. what we 'think' we can, or can't do...) and why our lives are often the products of such beliefs. You will learn new and empowering techniques to let go of what no longer serves you, and to nurture the authentic version of yourself that can lead to your goals.

We will guide you through this transformational, fun and healing process. We will take you on a journey where you'll be diving intensely into the mind-body practice that is yoga (3 types of yoga, 2 classes a day). When you commit to deepening your practice in a fiercely determined way, your energy's frequency rises and vibrational shifts take place at a much accelerated pace. This can trigger unexpected changes of circumstances for balance is naturally restored; not just physically but emotionally, mentally, financially, ecologically and possibly, spiritually, if we can embrace the possibility that everything happens FOR us rather than TO us. Join us to reconnect with nature, others and yourself.

"Yoga Enlight's retreat was a wonderful experience. I fully intend to keep attending yoga and my ability to meditate has improved. RE breathing in yoga: I have found this very helpful with my asthma and COPD.

It was a beautiful venue and I met some interesting people, some of whom I will remain in contact with.

It was a learning curve sharing a house with people I had not known previously and there were some benefits.

The food provided was nutritional and beautifully presented. I am not a vegetarian but did not miss meat." Jane
